| Bio: | Webster's Dictionary defines a commonplace book as "a book in which records are made of things to be remembered". I've always preferred the phrase "commonplace book" to "diary" or "journal". So here's mine. My life is busy, but not very exciting. When I'm not being a mama, cook, cleaning woman and general factotum, I'm usually reading (mostly non-fiction, history and biographies), writing or playing computer games. (I was a computer game tester before I became a SAHM.) Oh, and I love to sew for my two kids and my American Girl doll collection. Here are some of the important people in my life. I don't like to use their real names here, so here's a run-down on what nicknames mean what! George - My husband Baboo - my son, born in April 1999 Babette - my daughter, born in November 2000 Cosette - My best friend Big B - Her husband Diamond Hector That's about all I can think of.
